Privacy, Security CCTV and Access Control Policy

Karrinyup Waters Resort online privacy policy, CCTV footage and access control policy applies to all personal information and footage collected by Karrinyup Waters Resort.

Karrinyup Waters Resort is committed to complying with Commonwealth legislation governing privacy of personal information by businesses and to protecting and safeguarding your privacy when you deal with us.

Karrinyup Waters Resort will only collect personal information if it is necessary for one of our functions or activities.

Karrinyup Waters may keep a record of email correspondence.

Use of information collected to others.

We may use or disclose personal information held about an individual for the primary purpose for which it is collected (eg. provision of our services, including administration of our services, notification to you about changes to our services, record-keeping following termination of our services to you and technical maintenance).

Karrinyup Waters Resort places a great importance on the security of all information associated with our customers, clients and contractors. We have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control.

Secure transmission of data

We treat all Data that you provide to us as confidential information. To prevent Data from unauthorised access or leakage, we have adopted and regularly monitor our group’s security and data privacy policies and procedures. We use SSL protocol – an industry standard for encryption over the Internet, to protect the Data. When you type in sensitive information such as credit card details, it will be automatically encrypted and transferred over a SSL connection. This ensures that your sensitive Data is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. You will know that you are in a secure mode when the security icon (such as a lock) appears on the computer screen.

Personal information is de-identified or destroyed securely when no longer required by us.

Karrinyup Waters Resort retains the information you provide to us including possibly your contact and credit card details to enable us to verify transactions and customer details and to retain adequate records for legal and accounting purposes. This information is held on secure servers in controlled facilities.

Information stored within our computer systems can only be accessed by those entrusted with authority and computer network passwords.

No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100 per cent secure. As a result, while we strive to protect user’s personal information,

Karrinyup Waters Resort cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information transmitted to it or from its online products or services, and users do so at their own risk. Once Karrinyup Waters Resort receives your transmission, it makes every effort to ensure its security on its systems.

Access to and correction of personal information

Karrinyup Waters Resort is committed to maintaining accurate, timely, relevant and appropriate information about our customers, clients and web-site users.

Inaccurate information will be corrected upon receiving advice to this effect from you. To ensure confidentiality, details of your personal information will be passed on to you only if we are satisfied that the information relates to you.

Complaints

Access Control Wristbands

For the safety of all our patrons and to ensure a pleasant holiday experience for all guests must wear RFID access control wristbands to gain access to a number of Karrinyup Waters Facilities. Failure to comply will result in loss of access to the facility or cancellation of the reservation.

CCTV

CCTV cameras operate within Karrinyup Waters 24 hours a day. It is implied acceptance that by visiting or booking into the grounds of Karrinyup Waters that you may be filmed throughout the property.
